How is Mathletics going for your child?

Mathletics is an important aspect of our home learning programme and there is an expectation that all children will earn, at least 1000 points every week.

Earning a 1000 points can be done by completing activities or competing on Live Mathletics. Some of our children are able to earn 8000 plus points each week, with many earning, at least 2000 points, so we feel 1000 ponts is a very realistic goal.

Each week, your child's Maths teacher  assigns a few tasks that your child must complete before competing on Live Mathletics or accessing other programmes such as Rainforest Maths. These tasks are individualised and set at a level that allows your child to independently complete learning  at an appropriate level for them. Teachers will also reassign activities if a child achieves less than 85%.

We have noticed a drop off in numbers of children receiving their 1000 point certificates each week. Please let us know if we can support your child with their home learning.
