Writing - A Moment in Time
Moment in Time writing is a descriptive piece of writing to describe a moment in time. The description is based on senses, thinking about what I can see, hear, smell, feel and taste.
About to Hatch
I walk closer to the spherical type boulders, I knock on them, they seem empty. I wonder who did this, I thought to myself. I wonder if they meant to leave these on our beautiful beach because they seem hollow but they're heavy to move, I got told by the scientists that are here.
I look closer to the boulders, I knock one again. I gasp as I see different coloured yolk come out of it, I yell for the scientists, but they ignore me and then I look down, the ground is separating under me. I yell for them again, but still no response. I look inside the boulder that is now open.
As I look inside the boulder I hear groaning, but there is nothing in here, I hear the waves that are still clashing against the hillside. As I raise my head to get out of the boulder, I hear more yolk coming out, the gooey yolk finally releases itself and as it runs out of the boulder it makes a circular shape in the sand and it forms a rainbow.
As I look at it closer it smells like rotten eggs. I turn and try yell for the scientists one last time, as I do so I can smell the salty sea water forming waves, as I turn back around I smell the seaweed still decaying, it smells horrific.
I can feel the slime slowing dissolving in my hand as I touch it, it doesn’t feel as nice as you would think, it feels like it’s just going to grow but it actually dissolves. I drop as I feel it gushy against my skin. It didn’t feel like the slime or goo you normally encounter.
