The annual SW Zone Winter Tournament takes place at South Hagley Park on Tuesday 1st August from 10:00am -1:00pm. Postponement --> Tuesday 8th August

We have entered teams in the following sports:

Year 5/6: Football, Hockey, Netball and Rugby

Year 7/8: Football, Hockey and Netball

Each school is restricted to entering one team per sport, per year level so students attending are from the 'A' team for each sport.

The event is a short-duration game, round-robin tournament format. The winning team for each sport earns the right to attend the Central Tournament on Thursday, 24th August, again at Hagley Park.

We are travelling with Travlon Bus to and from the event, departing shortly after 9:00am and returning by 1:30pm. Students attending should wear sport mufti for the day, and don't forget the compulsory shin guards and / mouthguard for relevant sports.

Students attending will bring home an information form. The cost is $6 for the bus. We recommend payment via the Kindo online payment system used here at Oaklands. Payment through this method also covers event permission - so you don't have to worry about chasing up and paper permission form and getting it returned to school.

Payment in person will need to be accompanied by the permission reply portion of the notice.

Students need to be at school by 8:30am so that we can get them organised and ready for departure.
