Last Tuesday Oaklands School held a musical concert to celebrate the musical talents of a number of its students.

What a wonderful occasion as parents, family, friends and students came together to celebrate the musical talents of students at Oaklands School. We were treated to a wonderful array of talent ranging from Piano, Ukulele, Guitar, Accordion, Violin, Drums, Vocal group and Side drum.

We were once again reminded of the awesome talent of our students as they performed so creditably in front of an appreciative audience. This was even more special when realising that some of our performers were only 5 years old. Some of them even found the time to perform 2 or 3 times on a variety of instruments. 

Huge thanks to the parents who encourage their children to learn an instrument, the tutors who willingly give up their time to teach and challenge their students and to Mr McCallum for organising this evening. 

And to quote the front page of the programme - "You only need to practice on the days that you eat"
