We are having so much fun with a variety of different learning activities this week.

Mathematics

Mrs Baker's maths children in our cover photo, have been investigating symmetry and tessellation, and were so excited to make pinwheels. All of the other teachers were approached by excited learners exclaiming "Look what we made!"

Penpals

Some of the Huatau learners have been exchanging letters with children from a school in Perth. An ex-Oaklands student is now at this Australian school and her teacher contacted the Huatau teachers asking for penpals. 

More letters have just been written and are ready to be posted away.
