Caleb Horne played cricket this season for Halswell. This was his first season playing with pads and helmet. Caleb played well throughout the season, where he was presented with Most Improved player.

We sat down with Caleb for an interview.

I liked how in one of the games I got four catches. 

My dad plays cricket and he got me interested in it. Half way though the season we started wearing pads and helmets. It was hard at first as running in pads and with a helmet weighted me down. But now I am used to it.

I like how cricket is a challenge - you have to hit the ball and run as fast as you can.

Advice: don't hit the ball too hard, as someone might catch it. Get involved because it is fun.
