This week our writing hook was to write a descriptive piece of writing based on a silent story.

We watched the silent story 'Chalk' and brainstormed ways we could describe the story.  We watched it in sections and used pictures from the story to help us remember what happened. 

The quality of writing this week was amazing! Everyone was so engaged and excited to describe the Chalk story for their readers. There was some awesome descriptive writing and some people took on the challenge of using speech marks in our writing.
