Strengthening Families

Those of us who think about parenting realise it can be both a delight, challenge and sometimes a hardship! At Aidanfield Christian School, we are committed to walking the journey with parents and want to extend an invitation to the wider community to learn together. We know that by sharing the highs and lows with a group of people in similar situations, often keys can be found that unlock personal conflicts. Along with discovering and being encouraged by the fact that we are not alone in this challenge.

The Parenting Teenagers Course with Nicky and Sila Lee is a DVD, workbook and discussion based course which covers:

• Keeping The End In Mind

• Meeting Our Teenagers’ Needs

• Setting Boundaries

• Developing Emotional Health, and

• Helping Them Make Good Choices.

We offer the opportunity to join a gathering of parents who have children in their teens to explore these ideas and what they could mean in each family context.

The Parenting Teenagers course runs for 5 weeks and will be run out of Aidanfield Christian School. We would like you to be on board with offering this fantastic opportunity to your communities.

LOST / MISSING CAT

White/Black long haired cat with black lemur like tail and a black nose.

Missing around Lillian/Ensign Streets, Checketts Avenue, Halswell Road,

Oaklands area.

Has been missing since Easter Weekend and very much missed family pet.

Can you please check your property or your neighbours and keep a look

out for him. Very friendly and inquisitive cat….only three years old but very

large. He is also micro-chipped.

The Strange Sagas Short Story and Illustration Competition

Templeton RSA Disco
