Meet our Elected Parent representatives for the Oaklands Te Kura o Ōwaka Board.

Morgan Walker – Chair

Morgan is a career retailer who owns an Online e-Commerce business as well as working as a freelance Retail Consultant.

He has previous experience in Senior Management at Bunnings NZ and governance experience on the Board of Ronald McDonald House South Island.

His daughter Maddie is in Year 1 with a second daughter Chloe to start in a few years

Hannah Bryce – Deputy Chair

Hannah is a practicing solicitor who is currently General Counsel New Zealand Asia Pacific for GHD Engineering and is Chair of the Association of Consulting Engineers New Zealand Legal Roundtable. She has extensive experience in commercial negotiations, disputes, risk management, insurance and corporate policy. Hannah is currently in her second term supporting Oaklands Te Kura o Owaka as a parent representative and deputy chair of the Board.

She has two children, Griffin and Georgia, who are in Years 6 and 4 respectively, who keep her busy with their numerous extracurricular school and club activities.

Greg Adams

Greg works in the field of IT and specialises in Cyber Security & Risk. He enjoys sailing and biking in his spare time.

He is on his first term on the School Board and is thoroughly enjoying being part of the team striving to make a positive difference to the outcomes of Oakland's Tamariki.

His children are in years 1 and 4 with another one to come in a few years time.

Charlotte Hickling

Charlotte runs Task It, a virtual assistant business specialising in administration management and copywriting throughout New Zealand.

She has three children at Oaklands who are spread throughout the three teams. 

Holly Wang

Holly works as Business Intelligence Specialist (Health Analytics) for Health New Zealand in Canterbury District.

She has three children aged 14, 12 and 8. Outside work, she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with families and dog Stuey.
