While the Year 8's are on camp this week the Year 7's are undertaking some leadership projects at school and in our local community.

On Monday the Year 7's became Junior Park Rangers for the morning and worked with Amanda Black  from the Christchurch City Council Park Ranger team to plant, weed and survey the area around Westlake Park.   This morning we did a clean up of the area behind the Library at Halswell Domain and planted some native plants in the garden there.  For the rest of the week the Year 7's are gathering student voice about future playground designs and creating possible designs to share with the rest of the school and the Board of Trustees.
