This week in Hub 1 we have been celebrating Samoan Language week by creating beautiful Samoan inspired artworks. Inspired by Samoan tapa cloth designs, our tamariki created flowers by carefully folding a piece of paper multiple times and then cutting in a circular motion which created a flower. They then decorated their flowers using lots of colour and glued their flower onto a patterned background. They worked as a team together, all working on a small piece each, to create a beautiful piece of art.
