Miss Dench

Highlights: My highlights this year have been getting to know such an amazing group of Year 5 students who have made it a really enjoyable first year at Oaklands for me. Camp was certainly a highlight because I got to spend time having FUN with the students, parents and teachers. Seeing students challenge themselves on activities they haven't done before and cheering each other on was an awesome reflection of the CARE values we have been practicing all year. 

Max McAlister

My favourite part of learning this year was doing Maths with Mr Hillary because he makes learning enjoyable. My Maths Whizz has improved by 1.24 since the start of the year and it helps me learn things I don't learn in class.

I have enjoyed CmPS (Community Problem Solving) this year because I went to Auckland and had heaps of fun and we qualified to go to USA in 2020. It helps me with collaborating with others I don't usually work with. 

Bella Jones

I enjoyed Camp because of the GO KARTS and WATER SLIDE it was so awesome we also went into the forest for orienteering my friends and I teamed up because we sort of got lost.I was the first one in the family to get a principal award. 

I loved doing tryouts for winter sport and doing basketball because everything is fun in a way.When I do basketball it makes me feel happy and the first time that I scored a goal it made light up 

Zach Wallace 

My highlight has been Math's and learning about different things and I am proud of my math's age on MathsWhizz because it is 12 and half.

It would be Getting into the black cricket team in term four and getting to go to different schools to play cricket because Cricket is my favourite sport and it was during school time so we would get some Fridays off playing Cricket.

Charlotte Waldeck

My highlight of learning this year has been literacy, I love being challenged with reading and I especially liked writing our narratives.

A highlight from outside the classroom is winter sport because I love netball and all sports really!

My highlight for learning in the classroom has been reading. 

My highlight for learning outside the classroom has been Choir and Sport.

Zach Hamilton

My highlight for learning in the classroom has been reading in my reading groups. 

My highlight outside the classroom has been playing soccer for winter sport and doing well. 

Ella Ryan 

My highlight for learning in the classroom has been literacy because I liked doing my narrative writing.

My highlight for learning outside the classroom has been Choir because I learned lot's of new songs to perform. 

Sasha Norling 

I have enjoyed doing Integrated learning each term because I can let my ideas come to life. 

My highlight of learning outside the classroom has been winter  because I like to be active and I can play more Sport at school as well as at home.

Ethan Charlesworth 

I am most proud of my writing and how far it has come this year. I am now able to write sentences with capitals and full stops and include describing words. 

Outside of the classroom I am most proud of my involvement in Soccer. I have scored a few goals this season which I am proud of. I am looking forward to playing next year.

Arman Rahimi

I'm proud of my maths because I got better at times table and division. 

I am proud of my Beep test because I got higher level than last time.

I am most proud of my learning in Maths Whizz for getting nearly 4 progressions every week.

My favourite learning outside the classroom was Woodend camp because my favourite activities were archery air rifles and climbing wall.

My favourite part of learning inside the classroom has been Quick 60 - writing because it is fun.

My favourite part of learning in the classroom has been doing Maths Whizz as part of our Maths Lessons. 

My favourite part of learning outside the classroom has been Woodend Camp and playing Winter Sport.

My favourite part of learning in the classroom has ben Maths because I get tasks that are really challenging.

Something I enjoyed outside the classroom was sport because I get to do fun things like doing high jump.

In class I have been enjoying Maths because I am becoming more confident at learning new things. 

Outside the classroom my highlight is that I am learning more sports and getting stronger.
