Morgan is a career retailer who owns an Online e-Commerce business as well as working as a freelance Retail Consultant.

He has previous experience in Senior Management at Bunnings NZ and governance experience on the Board of Ronald McDonald House South Island.

He has two daughters at the school in year 4 and year 1.

Tilly McKay

Deputy Presiding Member

Parent Elected (First Term)

Tilly is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in the education sector for the past five years and is passionate about supporting quality education.

She is excited to join the Oaklands Board for her first term and looks forward to contributing her expertise to the school community.

Tilly is also a parent of two daughters in year 3 and 1.

Greg Adams

Parent Elected (Second Term)

Greg works in the field of IT and specialises in Cyber Security & Risk. He enjoys sailing and biking in his spare time.

He is on his second term on the School Board and is thoroughly enjoying being part of the team striving to make a positive difference to the outcomes of Oakland's Tamariki.

His children are in years 4 and 7 with another one starting this year.

Kelly Chapman

Parent Elected (First Term)

Kelly has spent most of her career working in various policy and leadership roles across central government.

She has three children, with two currently at Oaklands (in year 1 and 4).

She has previously served on the Oaklands School PTA including time as Secretary and PTA chair.

Colin Paintin

Parent Elected (First Term)

Colin has worked in a variety of roles across the public sector over the last ten+ years. For the last five years his focus has been on regulatory compliance, overseeing teams who assess organisations to ensure they are providing safe quality services.

In his spare time Colin is actively involved with his children’s sports teams and swings a cricket bat and golf club when time allows.

Colin has two children at the school in years four and six, with his youngest joining the school in 2026.

Rebecca Pillbrough

Staff Elected (First Term)

My name is Rebecca Pilbrough and I am the Staff Rep on the Board of Trustees. The ākonga know me as Miss P and I have been a kaiako at Oaklands Te Kura o Ōwaka for more than seven years.

I have taught in both the Junior and Senior parts of the school and no, I don't have a favourite year level.
