Oaklands is a Positive Behaviour for Learning School - this means we work on teaching students how to act positively so that all student may learn.

CARE values are being taught across the school on a regular basis. Students are learning to show these values in all areas. Our latest focus has been on using our CARE values when we visit the Library. 

Next week, and the week after, we will be focusing on Eating. Teachers will be encouraging students to make healthy food choices, to use manners when eating and to eat in the right areas. We also have a good composting system at Oaklands that we will be encouraging students to use the correct bins for in their classrooms.
