FORMAL DANCE.

This will be running in term 4. Our first session is on Wednesday in the first week of term. The hall is unavailable at present due to ongoing repairs so we will be dancing outside. The date for the Formal has been set for Wednesday 16 December.

TE HAPUA.

Year 8 students will all be attending 3 sessions at Te Hapua this term. This is a modified programme due to the disruption caused by COVID-19 this year. They will be learning how to use Garageband to become masters of electronic music creation. The first session is the first Friday back. More info will come home the first day back.

KORFBALL

All Year 7/8 students will receive 3 sessions of Korfball instruction this term. This is part of our initiative to expose the students to a range of new and interesting sports and activities. Korfball is an exciting combination of Netball and Basketball.

You can check out a video about Korfball here

HIGH SCHOOL TESTING AND ORIENTATION DAYS

We are aware that there are a number of testing/orientation days on this term. Please let the office know if your child is going to be away from school for a testing/orientation day.

YEAR 8 CAMP AT GLENTUI

A reminder that the dates for this camp are Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 December. School continues as normal for Year 7 students while the year 8 group is away.

SWIMMING POOL

This will be open again this term. Opening date TBC. The pool will be available at both break times each day. Your child is welcome to bring their togs and swim at break times if they would like to. We also have an allocated Year 7/8 time slot each Monday afternoon after lunch. Your child is also welcome to bring their togs of they wish to swim at this time too.

BABY BOY BAKER.

Mr Brown and I were lucky enough to get a cuddle with Lachlan. We had both forgotten how little new borns are. He is very cute and is doing well. Mrs Baker will pop in at some stage during the term so that everyone can meet Lachlan.
