Term 3, Week 4!

Rachel Pickering —

We had lots of fun this week during our Art Attack! We have a busy week coming up next week!

Next week we are starting our new P.E. - gymnastics topic and Integrated Topic based around 'Empathy', one of our Learner Qualities.

Our Friday morning will be changing from next week. The children will all be bringing home a browsing book, this will be a book your child has already read before. We will be using this time to focus on Developmental skills, such as fine motor and gross motor. Every second Friday we will be having a Te Reo lesson with Matua Rihari. Matua is a great asset to our school and he will be teaching us waiata and new Māori words (kupu).

REMINDER: NO TOYS at school from Monday. The Fidget Spinners and Bey Blades activity will not be running anymore as the weather is getting warmer and teachers will instead be taking activities outside. Toys of any kind that are brought to school will be taken until the end of the day.

If anyone has any old magazines or newspaper they can spare, it will be great if you can bring them into Hub 1.
