As most of you know we had a wee incident with the power in Room 14a on Monday with the builders cutting the power cable over the weekend! The students all adapted well to our classroom swapping adventure. Ah, the joys of the rebuild!

Maths

We are getting into the swing of Math Whizz in the hub this week. We have mostly focused on learning how to log in and how to use the features. Did you know you can log on and check your child's progress? For more information take a look at the blog post on accessing your parent dashboard.

Reading

Reading groups are fully up and running now.  Students will either come home with a browsing book or a book from their group reading.

Writing

We have seen some great stories coming out of our guided writing, especially about the rebuild in our school. Some of these have been shared at Whanau Hui. 

Art

Continuing with our theme of resilience, we have been making stained glass windows in the hub. These require students to be very careful and precise, and remind us all to keep going when things are tough. We can't wait to put them up in our Hub windows!
