This year the Oakland's chess team competed and made it to nationals. Here are some highlights from the team.

Didi: My highlight is making it to Nationals. and being able to compete and represent our school. Another highlight is hanging out with my friends and playing chess as a team.

Noah: My highlight was spending time with my friends and family as well as winning half of my games.

Kirsean: My highlight was making it to the Chess Nationals and winning 3 of my games, another highlight was going to the night market and getting some Boba Tea.

Conner: My highlight was playing chess and getting a potato stick at the Night market.
