The highlight of our Term has most definitely been the Year 0/1 trips to Halswell Quarry.  What a fantastic programme run by the council.  The tutors who delivered the programme were amazing - so knowledgable and patient.  Our Junior Park Rangers became bird watchers, bug spotters and they learned about pollination, seed dispersion and decomposition.  All big WOW words for the children to write about when they got back to school.  Thank you to the amazing parent helpers who came along and allowed themselves to be dressed up as trees (all whilst being attacked by a toy chainsaw!)
