Term 3 Week 2 update
Term 3 week 2
A huge well done to all the year 4s who presented their learning journeys to their families. You all did a wonderful job!
Home Learning
Reading remains a fundamental skill, and we kindly request that each student dedicate at least one hour per week to reading. To monitor their progress, we ask that you fill in the reading logs provided and ensure they are returned to the school every Friday.
Additionally, please remind your child to return their CARE books to school each Friday. This enables us to check reading logs and replenish them as necessary.
Furthermore, we have assigned Matific online tasks for our students. These tasks offer engaging opportunities to practice mathematical concepts. We encourage your child to complete them at their own pace. We recommend students complete assigned task or adventure islands.
Passion project
Every Friday for 5 weeks students have opted into multi sport with Mrs Bowmar learning to work as a team and play a range of different sports. Or book trailers with Mr Ladbrook where they are learning to use iMovie to promote books. This has been a great start.
Gardening:
We went over to the dirt pile by the trees and we got shovels and Mr Meyrick got a wheelbarrow. We dug with the shovels and put the dirt in the wheelbarrow and once the wheelbarrow was full we came back behind the new entrance class and we put the dirt in the planter boxes but we only did two planter boxes because ran out of time
THE END by Lacey Armstrong
We went over to the big dirt pile and shoveled the dirt into a
Wheel-barrow once it was full we wheeled it over to the gardening boxes and shoveled it in the boxes then we went back with the wheel-barrow to shovel more into the wheel-barrow. It was good fun.

I really enjoyed gardening last week because I really liked getting my clothes all dirty.
I learned a lot about gardening too. We had to do lots of shoveling to get the dirt from one place to another.
