Today we celebrate the awesome Chloe Barclay of 5/6 C who loves her cricket, and did very well at her club's recent prize giving.

Recently at the Halswell Junior Cricket club prize giving, Chloe received the MVP of the year for her team. She scored many runs for her team. She was a super supporter, cheering her teammates on, and she also got a bunch of wickets.

We asked Chloe about her cricket:

"I like batting because I get to hit the ball for 4. My dad was playing cricket and I thought it would be a great idea to play as well. So I did. 

I like bowling because I like getting wickets.

My advice to girls who want to give cricket a go: Try your best. Give it a go because it is fun."
