Ki-o-Rahi Lessons

7/8LM participated in Ki-o-Rahi session on Tuesday afternoon with Lawrence who is a Sport Canterbury Community Advisor, AKA Ki-o-Rahi expert!

Denver - Ki-o-Rahi was fun! It's been on my bucket list. I loved learning the story about how it originated. It was hard at the start to understand the boundaries but once I got used to it was fun. I would surely like to play this again.

SB and BB will be having their session with Lawrence later in the term.

Leadership Training

On Thursday morning students were involved in leadership  training for the role they have selected to do this year. Roles that students are involved are PALs (Physical activity leaders), Peer Mediators, Librarians and Community Crew. The timetable for these roles begins Monday Week 4.
