There are a number of Student Leadership roles up for grabs in 2020.

This week we discussed the 12 Student Leader opportunities available to the students for 2020. 
We shared a copy of the job descriptions for each of these positions with the students. The job descriptions for each of the 12 positions are linked below.

We have asked the students to provide us with written expressions of interest for up to three of the 12 available roles.
We have provided a template on which expressions of interest can be written and handed in. This will all be done through the Google Classroom as this keeps everything all on one place. Your child has access to this Google Classroom. The leadership application form is linked below for you to view.

All written expressions of interest are due in to us no later than 3pm on Monday 18 November.

We encourage you to talk to your child about all of this and support them with their application. Please make sure that applications are in their words and not yours. 

The timeline for selection of student leaders for 2020 is as follows:

Week 4, T4 : Leadership opportunities for 2020 presented to students. Template for applications share with students. 

Week 5, T4 : Students draft their written expressions of interest for up to 3 leadership roles. 

Week 6, T4 : Written expressions of interest for up to 3 roles due no later than 3pm, Monday 18 November. 

Week 7 & 8, T4 : Applications considered and shortlists made. 

Week 9 , T4: Candidates for Head Student positions interviewed by Senior Management. 

Week 10, T4 : Final decisions made and Student Leaders for 2020 announced. 

This is an exciting and possibly nerve wracking time of year for students.
