The ins and outs of the third week of term 1.

Reading

We started reading groups this week. We are mixing across the three rooms in our hub so that we can best target the needs of our learners. We read with one group before morning tea and the rest after.

Writing

Maths

We finished our investigations into probability and statistics this week and will be starting guided maths next week.

We will also be starting Maths Whizz next week, with Maths Whizz training for the children on Tuesday.

PE - Swimming

Over night on Thursday the school pool emptied of water. Hopefully the fault will be fixed soon and we can still go swimming on Tuesday. Stay tuned for more information. 

If the pool is open then the Year 2 Blue Hub will be swimming on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

Library

We will be going to the library on Thursday afternoons.

What's Happening Next Week?

- Maths Whizz parent meeting is on Tuesday the 20th at 6pm
