GRIP Leadership Conference 2017
The GRIP Leadership conference was an opportunity for our Year 7 students to develop as leaders.
Each year our Year 7 students attend the GRIP leadership conference. This conference is aimed at young leaders and aims to provide them with some of the skills needed as they step up to being role models and leaders in the Senior School. Over 50 schools attended this years conference. This provided plenty of opportunity for students to network and interact with like minded individuals.
From a teachers perspective the conference was a resounding success and it was great to see our Year 7 students involving themselves fully in all of the activities. Read what the students thought about the conference below.
Riley - It was a fun a event seeing people from other schools. Making new friends while doing the challenges was the best.
Brayden-It was a fun event because we met people from other schools and made some new friends and learnt a lot.
Caitlin- It was a fun experiment and we made lots of new friends and the loud noises were the best. We had to yell our loudest.
We look forward to more of the same next year.
