Maths is a major focus in our hub. We aim to prepare our students for high school and our results and student feedback show this is happening well.

We find that Maths is an engaging subject in the Year 7&8 hub and here's what our students have to say about it:

"We don't have to wait for the teacher to see us, we can continue with our group because it is all on Google Classroom and ready to go."  - Year 7 girl

"I like doing the hard questions because it is challenging and keeps me focused." Year 7 boy

"You can choose your Maths goal and you don't have to wait for a group, we just use the modelling book." Year 8 boy. 

We have just started our Geometry strand in the second part of the term after completing a few weeks on Number activities.
