The Koru Games is a South Island Year 7 & 8 multi-day sports tournament hosted by Selwyn Sports Trust in the Selwyn District. The upcoming tournament is from Tuesday 15th to Thursday 17th September. 

We have the following teams entered into the 2020 competition -

• Rugby Sevens coached by Kent Ramsay
• Football coached by Mr Muller
• Touch Rugby coached by Michelle Foster
• Netball coached by Mr Sy
• Volleyball (x5) coached by Mr Brown and supported by volunteering parents on the tournament days. 

Nathan - I am excited for the 3 day tournament. I am looking forward to having these days at the field at Foster Park.

Latisha - I am excited and nervous for the tournament because I've never been to a big tournament before.

Fazil - I like the football trainings and I am feeling really good about playing in the competition. I am hoping that our team wins some of their games. I think the games may be kind of hard. 

We have training each Tuesday afternoon - below are some photos of the players in action. We have our fingers crossed for good weather to ensure we get all our trainings in between now and then. 

A huge thank you Kent and Michelle for taking up the role of coach for the Rugby Sevens and Touch Rugby teams. We really appreciate you giving us your time each Tuesday for our team trainings.
