Wednesday 10 April our students will have their KOS lesson, ‘The Real World’ with our visiting police officer. This lesson is based on ‘Safe or Unsafe’ with the key message, I have a right to be safe with other people.

Learning Intentions

Students can:

• Identify behaviours of other people that make them feel unsafe or uncomfortable

• Distinguish between touch they like, touch they don’t like, and touch that confuses them.

Friday 12 April is our Celebration of Learning where the students will check out what the rest of the school have been doing this term as well as sharing with other students from around the school what we have been learning. Parents and whanau are also most welcome to come down and check out what we have been up to this term.

Friday 12 April is also our last day of Term 1.
