Every second Friday the Reception Hub gets to meet with Matua Rihari to learn some waiata.

Last week we went down to the hall from 10-10:30am to meet Matua Rihari and learn some waiata.

First we learned the Te Reo Māori vowels while learning a song called A E I O U.

He taught us Oma Rāpeti and the actions that go along with it.  We also learned some actions and the correct pronunciation for the waiata Tutira Mai Nga Iwi.

It was so much fun and we can't wait to see Matua Rihari next week!
