One Potato, Two Potatoes, Three Potatoes, Four.......

Catherine Corcoran —

Our potato plants are growing so tall and we are hoping that just as much growing is happening under the soil as well. The children are excited to bring their potato plant home at the end of term so they can dig up their potatoes in late December or early January.

In Term 3 we learnt all about what plants need to grow and now we are putting this learning into action by growing potatoes in buckets.

Every child has their own potato plant that they planted in Week 1 of the term and they have been caring for them each day.

We know that plants need
