Bryan Brown

Kia ora everyone, here is a bit about Mr Brown the teacher.  I've been teaching for 9 years in Intermediates and Primary Schools.  I have taught in Ashburton (Ashburton Intermediate), Auckland (Bruce McLaren Intermediate) and now Oaklands School.  Teaching is a passion for me, I love seeing students being challenged, develop their confidence, further their own personal skills and discover new enthusiasm for subjects.  My curriculum subjects that I enjoy teaching most are Mathematics, Literacy, Physical Education, Te Reo and Dance. 

Now some things your didn't know about Bryan Brown.  Last year, my family grew, my wife and I were privileged in having our first child, Alexandra.  She is now nearly 17 months old and has quickly become the centre of our life.  My wife (Emma) and I have been together for over 10 years and are really enjoying being parents to our beautiful child.  I have been a keen sportsman my whole life and reluctantly  now are more of a spectator rather than a player. 

In my spare time, I enjoy being able to have time with my family and travel around the countryside finding new spots to visit.  I really enjoy listening to music and being challenged building/ renovating around the home.
