1AH and 1RP have been working hard on designing a friendship chair that will be out in the playground next term!

The Year 1 children have been learning about Whare Tapa Whā and all the leaders in our school community that are there to help them. Together we came up with the idea to create a friendship chair to help students who struggle to find friends at break times. 

We interviewed students from Reception and Year 2 to see how they feel at breaks and if they have someone to play with.
