3SF was one of the four whanau classes that made up the Year 3 Hub in 2019. It's been a big year of learning and here are some student reflections and photos from the year. The students have been asked to comment about their year of learning and what other opportunities the have engaged in...

Dylan – “I enjoyed the cross country and doing run jump throw for P.E!”

Bianca – “My highlight of the year was making new friends and swimming in the pool. My favourite trip was the city trip because we did lots of fun things and saw dinosaurs!”

Georgia – “I’ve enjoyed making new friends and going to Orana Park!”

Max – “I have enjoyed maths the most and also going on all the school trips with Hub 3.”

Chloe – “I thought the trips were the best when we went to the city, the library, the playgrounds, and Orana Park!”

Josh – “I enjoyed going to Orana Park and going to the City to see the museum and playgrounds!”

Ryan – “I liked the sprint finals this year and swimming in the pool with my friends!”

Kayla – “Playing on the new playground and the ones in the city were the best for me!”

Laken – “Maths has been my favourite subject to do this year and writing because I’ve improved heaps in writing!”

Connor – “The trips were lots of fun and I really enjoyed maths this year.”

Alex – “Doing writing and reading with my friends has been the best part of my year at Oaklands!”

Zech – “Going to Orana Park was my favourite because I went down the big slide and did some cool tricks on the playground, and saw lots of different animals!”

Zachri – “Doing jobs with Connor was cool to do this year, and going to Orana Park was lots of fun too!”

Jayden – “I enjoyed maths the most and also going on the school trip to the city to the museum and library and Margaret Mahy playground!”

Declan – “I have enjoyed maths a lot this year, and also going to Orana Park because I got to see lots of animals there!”

Cici – “At school my favourite part of the year was going on the trip to the city to the library and museum!”

Lilly – “Going on all the trips was lots of fun and I enjoyed the chapter chat this year, especially Fantastic Mr. Fox!”

Emma – “I enjoyed swimming, gymnastics, choir, and dance group this year! It has been a lot of fun!”

Adele – “I thought the trips were the best part of the year because I learnt so much going on these trips!”

Amelia – “Getting fruit bursts and doing word-finds was lots of fun at lunch times, and also swimming with my class was cool!”

Jady – “Dance group has been lots of fun this year, and I enjoyed hosting in assembly!”

Duncan – “All the trips this year were awesome! I liked how much fun they were for everyone!”

Katherine – “I liked the city trip the most because I got to play on the Margaret Mahy playground and go to the museum!”
