Last week we survey our Year 7/8s to see what they thought of the programme.

We asked three questions so we could get some Student Voice:

• What really helps with my learning? 
  
• What would I like to see changed in the Year 7/8 Hub?
• What are some barriers to learning in the Year 7/8 Hub?

Student completed an online survey. We then put their responses into a word cloud. A word cloud takes the text and enlarges words by a number of times it is mention.  See the example above. Here are some patterns and trends from what the Year 7/8s said:

• A large number of students said that Google Classroom really helped them with their learning.
  
• A large number of students wanted to get rid of the seating plan we have in the Whanau Zone.
• The biggest barrier to the student's learning was their peers. eg people talking etc.
