When we do Buddy Reading we sit side by side so we are both able to share a book. We may take turns reading or one person will be the reader and the other will be the listener.
Buddy Reading helps us to develop a wide range of skills including:
Listening to another child read
Reading to another child
Asking/answering questions to each other
Sharing a book with each other
Discussing their own experiences relating to the book
