This term Huatau’s Physical Education programme has focused on athletics and swimming. At the beginning of the term the students focused on learning and developing the skills of shot put, discus, long jump and high jump. We then ran our field events competition over two afternoons, where the students all participated in discus, shot put, high jump and long jump. This week we concluded our 2021 athletics with our track events, the sprints. The students have enjoyed the opportunity to learn and explore the different athletic skills and look forward to developing these even further next year.
