Check out what 3HO have been up to in the music segment of their Arts Rotation.

On a Friday afternoon, the Year 3 Hub engage in learning about The Arts - Dance, Drama, Visual Art and Music. Over the year, each whanau class works with different teachers, in multiple five week blocks of Dance, Drama and Visual Art, and one 10 week block of Music.

In each Music lesson, the children have been learning the basics of how to play simple rhythms and drumbeats, as they work towards a performance of a major performance piece. They have been exposed to different styles of music while also learning drum techniques such as hand drumming and body percussion.

The children worked through all sorts of engaging rhythmic games and exercises as they developed and honed their musical skills.
