Highlights of 2022 - Patere Iti (Year 1) ER

Emily Radka —

2022 has been a busy year for our Year 1's and we are proud of the work we have done! Come check it out.

It has been an amazing, fun year in Year 1/2 Ono! We have learnt lots, made new friends and tried new things. Check out what we have been up to and what some of us have said our favourite thing was this year...

Ben: My favourite part of this year was the garden trip and when Tock the robot visited the school.

Oscar: I liked when we built things out of cardboard boxes and other materials

Leila, Zoe and Iris have both enjoyed learning to write and achieve their goals

Lennon, Poppy, Ashton, Anureet and Reyan all agreed that one of the best things about this year was swimming.

Brady, Naomi, Kiaan, Demelza, Olivia and Gianna said they all really loved the trips to the Botanical Gardens. This was a great trip and one that all the students had so much fun on.

We have had a busy year learning about how we can be Kaitiaki (a guardian) of our school, community and home. We were able to share an inspiring song to our community at the gala. This was fun and all of us teachers were very proud of the students for singing their hearts out.

I have had the best year with my class and have loved seeing them take risks with their learning, make new friends and become more confident with who they are. I know they will continue to do amazing work in 2023 as big year 2's!
