Another year of Technology at Lincoln has come to an end.

It has been a very busy year at technology at Lincoln. Every Tuesday  our students have travelled by bus to Lincoln Primary to participate in the Technology Programme. Students have been involved in Science, Food Technology, Hard Materials and Design and Textiles. 

Food Technology was particularly exciting this week with students being issued with a mystery ingredient challenge. The mystery ingredient turned out to be none other than humble white bread! The  challenge was to work together in groups, to create both a main and a dessert, with white bread being the star of both dishes. 

Each group was also give an iPad that they were allowed to use to assist them with inspiration and ideas. 

It is fair to say that bread was certainly the star of the day. A variety of dishes were served up including a meat lovers pizza with a bread base, pies made with bread instead of pastry, french toast rolls with cinnamon and ice cream and dessert bread cups with ice cream. All plates were eaten clean and the students were justifiably proud of their creations. Check out the images of some of their creations. 

Bring on Technology 2019! If it's anything like this year, it promises to be an exciting learning experience.
