This year for the Run Bike Run at Westlake Park, we struck an absolute ripper of a day. The sun was out, there was no wind and the temperature was peaking around 30 degrees. How hot!

Despite the challenging conditions, the students in the Kauri team did their best and competed in the racing. We had students competing in individual races or as a team. 

The course consisted of 3 legs. The first leg was a run around one of the lakes, the second leg was a ride around both lakes and finally the last leg, was a run around the sports field to the finish. 

It was great to see students involving themselves in a positive way by being physically active and supporting their friends. We also had some great support from our student leaders and our parent community.
