Room 25
2016 has been a busy year for the Year 7/8's. We have been involved in all sorts of exciting activities both inside and outside of the classroom. Read some of Room 25's thoughts on their year below.
As a senior I have enjoyed the wonderful opportunities that we get like the leadership roles we can do to help others or the sporting events we can take part in like Koru Games. Also learning the dances for formal and learning about NZ identity and going up to Wellington to follow on from our learning in the class. ( Jessica)
This year I have have enjoyed the opportunities like my leadership roles like house points co-ordinator and Librarian. I also enjoyed my experience in Wellington and seeing all the things I had learnt at school.(Parliament.) I have also enjoyed having three teachers and so many kids in one classroom:) ( Lauren)
This year I have enjoyed everything, but the one thing I most enjoyed was being around everyone. I have also enjoyed looking after the little kids in their learning, it was really fun and a great opportunity to get to know the little kids. I have also enjoyed the great opportunities that the class and teachers have given me. ( Charlie)
I have enjoyed the fitness with just Rm 25 because there are less people so it's easy to run without running into someone. Also the reflections because we can say what we think. I have also enjoyed having 3 different teachers because they all have different strengths so I can go to the one with the best strengths for me. ( Sasha)
This year I really enjoyed Pet Day. Having lots of our learning online has been a little bit hard but I am beginning to get the hang of it. I have enjoyed Technology each Tuesday especially sewing. I made a pillow. (Caleb)
I have enjoyed all the sport opportunities like the Koru Games and other events. It is cool to be able to work with lot’s of other people and it is good to have 3 teachers because they have strengths in different areas. (Josh)
