Halswell Rugby League Netball Club

Junior Netball for Year 1 – 4 aged children

Selwyn Netball run a Junior Netball Programme for Year 1 – 2 and Year 3 – 4 aged children. Halswell Rugby League Netball Club enters teams into this programme.This Year 1 – 2 and the Year 3 – 4 programme will be running for a duration of 10 weeks through school term 2 and 3 on a Monday or Tuesday with games starting at either 3.45pm or 4.45pm at the Selwyn Sports Centre in Rolleston which is an Indoor facility. This starts on the 10th of May & runs until the 2nd of August. There is also a tournament at the end of the season for these players on Sunday the 15 th of August.There is no netball on Queens Birthday or in the school holidays.

Are your Year 1 – 4 children keen on developing skills and playing netball this year? Then register your child online at www.sporty.co.nz/hrlnc or come along to our information / team set up session on Sunday the 11th of April from 2 - 3pm at the Halswell Rugby League Netball courts in the Halswell Domain.

The cost of the programme will be $80 per child.

Registrations close on the 10 th of April.

We will need some parents to help manage these teams – if you are able to help, please let us know.

Waihora Rugby Club

Waihora Rugby Club, Just down the road at Tai Tapu, is looking for 6-7 rugby players to join their u13 team for the 2021 season.  If you haven’t chosen a winter sport for this year or were thinking of playing rugby we would love to hear from you.  Waihora is a great family rugby club, with morning teas after every match and offers a great experience of country rugby...

If you/you son or daughter would be interested to play for our u13 team in the 2021 season we can offer free registration this year and we have boots for players who might need them.. training will be on Wednesdays starting 7th April and the season kicks on on Saturday 8th May.
