It's Swimming Time

Sandra Seil —

Term 4 means swimming lessons!

The tamariki have enjoyed being able to get back in the pool this week. Our first trip to the pool on Wednesday focused on reminding students of the procedure to keep everyone safe when in or around the pool.

Many have already started taking advantage of free swims during Morning Tea breaks. This is a great way to stay cool as the weather warms up.

Here is what some of our tamariki have to say about swimming:

Isaac: You can play around with your friends.

Fletcher: I like it because when you get in it feels cold but when you put your head under it gets warmer.

Mila: I love swimming.

Natalie: I like getting things under the water.

Rosie: I like getting to play with my friends in the pool.

Oliver: It’s fun.

Willow: Diving for the sinking objects is my favourite thing.

Mia: I like learning new swim techniques.

Gabriella: I like the water - it’s cold at first, but then warmer once your in.

Nina: I just love swimming with my family and friends.
