Writing - Shared pair marking

Alicia Hebbend —

Hub 1 worked in pairs to help mark their character description stories.

Each pair (or three) used the marking feedback strip to help mark their piece of writing.

The writing strip looks into features such as capital letters, full stops, finger spaces between words, writing on the line and sounds.

Pair sharing is a powerful learning experience. In Māori it is referred to tuakana-teina and it is learning opportunity where both child gets time to teach and learn mutually!
