Thank you everyone who participated and contributed. A special mention goes out to Carter Scott and Willow Smith for their amazing fundraising contribution.
STUDENT LEADERS
Whist as a teacher we can take charge and lead this, it means much more if students are involved with promoting and leading the Oaklands contribution.
Lead by the kind-hearted and motivated Eden Stewart and Greer Western, the 2023 team were: Beau Taylor, Ella Horne, Elizabeth Woolford, Esther Vincent, Leah Archibald, Mikkel Jensen, Nate Gilmour and William McMillan
POSTER COMPETITION
We held a poster competition prior to the big weekend; this is a bit of a tradition at Oaklands. We received a good amount of entries which made the task of judging not an easy one. However, after much deliberation, the student leaders selected their top poster for each year group submitted.
The winners were:
Year 2: Bella Taylor
Year 3: Mila Carter
Year 4: Anni Li
Year 5: Lucy Trevathan
Year 6: Chloe Barclay
Special mention: excellent poster and first submitted category: April Liu
Prize winners
Well done, everyone
