We have been fortunate to be involved in many different P.E activities this year, see below for the adventures we have had in 2018!

P.E - Swimming; in Term 1 and 4 saw us practicing many of the basic skills needed to be stay safe in the water! We have practiced floating, gliding, breathing correctly, strokes and kicks!

House Fun Day; this was a lot of fun in early 2018, we got to participate in many different activities with different teachers out on the field. We spent the afternoon with in our houses to play games we hadn't played before!

P.E - Run, Jump, Throw; We spent the beginning of Term 4 getting ready for RJT! What a fun afternoon we had! We participated in three activities with our hub teachers, one was a jumping activity, one was a a throwing activity and one was a running activity. It was a great chance to have a bit of fun with our whanau classes and teachers!

P.E - Gym; We really, really, enjoyed gymnastics in Term 3! We were lucky to have Robbie from Sports Canterbury come in to support us with safe rolling and landing. We made up a short routine of rolls, and practiced jumping and landing which we thought was great because it meant we were allowed to use the mini tramp, springboard and small beam!
"I liked that we did cool sequences!" - DiDi
"I liked when we were warming up and we played games and had to remember the shape positions, pike, straddle, tuck and stretch." - Logan M
"I liked that each time we did gymnastics we learned new things. I learned how to forward roll safely" - Milayna

P.E - Throwing and Catching; In Term 2 we practiced our throwing and catching skills. It was great working with a buddy and throwing tennis balls to them, as well as being able to practice our catching skills!
"I liked P.E because when we threw sometimes our partners missed, and it was a bit funny when I missed but I got better at catching" - Grace Oh
"We got to learn with some new people" - Emily G

Special thanks to all the students and staff who participated in the above activities and made P.E in Hub 3 very successful!
