Oaklands School Year 3 Hub Kids share their learning about Homelessness in Christchurch and launch their food drive.

Some of the amazing writers in the Year 3 Hub have had an authentic use for their writing this term, through their investigation into homelessness in Christchurch.

The children formulated questions to ask an important visitor from the Christchurch City Mission. They wrote letters to Mrs Trotter to persuade her to give permission for a Food Drive. Lastly, they created posters and a video to advertise and gain support for their Food Drive.

Any donations would be gratefully received and can be put in the box in office.
