The students came to school dressed as their favourite book characters and brought the book their character is from along to show their classmates. 

We had a parade to show off our costumes, the school split into groups and ran 2 parades. The Year 6 Hub were part of the first parade, along with the Year 0/1, Year 2 and Year 4 Hubs. All of the students got to share their costumes in the parade and one person from each Hub shared who they are and why they chose their character.

Elizabeth, Claudia and Jacob shared on behalf of our Hub. 

Elizabeth - I dressed as Alice in Wonderland. I chose this character because she always tries to get out of the learning pit, always tries her best and she never gives up. 

Claudia - I dressed up as Slinky Malinki. I chose this character because as I have been growing up I have been reading the Hairy Maclary books and the cat is my favourite character. 

Jacob - I dressed as Rubeus Hagrid from Harry Potter. I chose this character because he loves every type of dangerous animals and because he helps lots of people.
