Term 4, Week 7 in Review

Alex HORN —

Swimming

We have been loving swimming, and having the Kelly Sport team coming to teach us water safety skills.

Don't forget to bring your togs on Monday and Friday for our class swim, or any day of the week if you want to have a free morning tea swim.

Science

In science this term we have completed a series of taster lessons and have now split into one of three groups to create a final product related to our subject.

Chookology

In Chookology we have been designing and making model chicken coops out of cardboard in preparation for the actual coops going in next year.

Beeology

In Beeology we have been learning and researching ways we can keep bees safe and help them thrive.

Plantology

In Plantology we are taking advantage of the recently made available planter boxes behind our Hub.

Student Led Conferences

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to our Student Led Conferences, it was great to see you all.

Literacy Week

Next week is Literacy Week, in addition to a bunch of fun in class and at school events running all week there will be a dress up as a book charter on Friday.

Also, the Book Swap starts on Tuesday and Wednesday when you can bring a book to Hub 6 and receive a token, which can then be exchanged for a different book on Thursday in Ripo.

What else is coming up...

- Whole school assembly will be a Zoom assembly held next Monday afternoon.
