INTERVIEW WITH ANGEL
- Journalist/Interviewer: Kharmony
Q How did you get into cheerleading?
I knew how to do a lot of handstands as well as cartwheels, I also wanted to learn more on how to do a back bend and other things as well.
Q What do you like about it?
I like how they teach us a lot of different movements like a handstand bridge, and a lot of other things.
Q How often do you train?
Every Saturday.
Q What does a normal training session involve?
Whenever I go to cheerleading the first thing we do is the roll to make sure everyone's there, After that we split into 2 teams. We then get the mats out and practice our cheerleading.
Q How do you feel when you are competing in a competition?
I feel calm because I always make sure to take pride in what I do.
Q What advice would you give to Oaklands students who might be keen to give it a try?
Try your best and don't give up no matter the situation
